LINDSAY HITS ALBERTA!

The rumor today is all about Lindsay Lohan. In the past few weeks, she has gotten SO shockingly thin, the inevitable talk has started that she’s back on THE drugs. She is WELL under 100lbs, her legs appear too weak to support her tiny frame and you can see her shoulder blades underneath her skin. Instead of being in a hospital, she spent the weekend in Edmonton where Sam had a DJ gig…then they're off to a private Super Bowl Party.

EX BODYGUARD WRITES TELL ALL...

There could be a BIG issue brewing with Angelina Jolie…instead of celebrating her Oscar nomination, she spent the day on the phone with lawyers- trying to block the publication of a TELL ALL book written by her longtime bodyguard (and Maddox’s godfather) Mickey Brett. (thug- according to Brad, 7 yrs, no confidentiality agreement ever signed, quietly let go last year) – he spills MAJOR dirt about the 2 of them, her mean spirited behavior towards Brad…as well, he says that she was with an “unnamed famous female pop star” on more than 20 occasions in the last year. He’s expecting to blow the roof off as soon as it gets released, everyone’s in a panic.

HOLLYWOOD IS A GHOST-TOWN!

Hollywood and New York City will feel strangely empty today, as seemingly every star in the known universe converges on Washington, D.C. to perform at one of the many inaugural balls being held today. Here's a rundown of who's playing what and where:

The Neighborhood Ball is tonight's big event -- it's being broadcast on ABC from Washington's Convention Center. The bash will feature performances from MARIAH CAREY, MAROON 5, ALICIA KEYS, FAITH HILL, MARY J. BLIGE, JAY-Z, STEVIE WONDER, SHAKIRA and more. Plus, BEYONCÉ will sing the ETTA JAMES classic "At Last" while PRESIDENT BARACK AND FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA have their first dance together.

The Youth Inaugural Ball, sponsored by MTV, called Be The Change: Live From The Inaugural, the event will feature performances from KANYE WEST, KID ROCK and FALL OUT BOY, as well as appearances from USHER, ROSARIO DAWSON and TOBEY MAGUIRE.

MALL COP vs NOTORIOUS

Mall Cop was the number one movie this weekend making almost 34 million dollars. Notorious made 22 million (and 4 ppl were stabbed at the unofficial after party in Brooklyn, 3 miles from Biggie’s former home- one in critical, 3 in stable condition).

AND THE AWARD GOES TO...

Imagine winning an award in front of everyone --and then having it taken away from you. That's what happened to Katy Perry on Saturday night at the French Music Awards. "I Kissed A Girl" had been announced as the International Song of the Year, she walked onstage to accept the award, but at the end of the show, the host announced that there'd been a mistake in the vote tally - and that Rihanna’s song "Disturbia" was the actual winner. OUCH.

BAD KARMA!

Boy George was sentenced on Friday to 15 months in jail after being found guilty last month of falsely imprisoning a Norwegian male escort. The length of the sentence was a surprise to lawyers who had expected a term of around three months, or even a suspended sentence.

WALK THE LINE...THEN FALL OFF THE STAGE

Joaquin Phoenix’s rap career stumbled out of the gate Friday night during a gig in Las Vegas. The Walk the Line star, who says he's retired from acting, performed three songs from his upcoming debut album and literally fell from the stage at the club LAVO. You can find the clip on YouTube.

WASHINGTON ROCKS!

Tonight in Washington, D.C., the Jonas Brothers will perform along with Miley Cyrus, Usher and Bow Wow at the "Kids' Inaugural Concert: We Are The Future." Hosted by Michelle Obama to honor military families. Also tonight -The Green Ball, featuring Melissa Etheridge, Will I.AM and Maroon 5. TV NOTES...

Fans of Heroes will be happy to know it’s been renewed for another season…so are 30 Rock and The Office. – Knight Rider however, might be canceled. (ER just had 3 more episodes added, some think to accommodate George Clooney’s return)…

JO BROS...WHOA!

The JoBros want the opening weekend of their upcoming 3-D movie to be the highest-grossing opening weekend for any 3D movie in history (Feb 27). They’re actually looking at the whole YEAR as the "FanFamily Experience," which will allow fans to participate in variety of activities to help make them dominate the world in 09. OK…?

SOMEONE REJECTED OPRAH??

Somebody said NO to Oprah. Yah, she might be one of the most powerful women in show business, but she apparently isn't influential enough to convince a Hollywood director to give her a movie role. She revealed yesterday during an interview with Meryl Streep that she asked to audition for the role of Mrs. Miller in Streep's new movie Doubt, but was rejected. (said she felt a connection to the character or Mrs. Miller) – but director John Shanley passed on her. Coincidentally – the part went to actress Viola Davis – who was nominated for a Golden Globe.

JEN, BEN AND ALISON PICK NAMES...

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have picked a name for their baby girl – Seraphina Rose Elizabeth. One more…Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney had a baby girl- Megan Hope Sanov.
