BONO IS THE GODFATHER

So have you heard that Brad and Angelina have reportedly picked Bono to be their twins' godfather? That's SOOO Hollywood. As you know, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline were born two weeks ago and, word is, the entire family is now spending some quality time at Bono's home in France. UK's Mirror quoted a "friend" of Angelina and Brad's as saying: "Brad and Angelina think the world of Bono. They have been friends for years." COULD YOU IMAGINE HAVING BONO FOR A GODFATHER??

JUDGE JUDY JUMPS

There have been more than 70 aftershocks after a 5.4 magnitude earthquake rattled nerves in Southern California Tuesday. The tremors were captured on-camera at the taping of the syndicated court show "Judge Judy" in Hollywood. Judge Judy Sheindlin was hearing a case when the earthquake struck, sending participants running for cover.

NELLY IS BUSY!

BATMAN TO TOP TITANTIC

INSANE -- Batman made MORE money! It made another 75 million dollars this weekend- bringing the grand total to 314 million dollars. In 2nd place – Step Brothers $30 million. PS - I still CANNOT believe what they showed in this movie...FILTHY...but really funny!!

SHIA LA-LOCKED UP...or how about...SHIA LABUSTED! (Thanks Ian)

Shia Laboeuf was arrested on a DUI (suspicion)…his pickup truck hit a car in West Hollywood around 3 am Sunday morning as he was making an illegal left. When they hit, he rolled. According to authorities, LaBeouf showed clear, outward signs of intoxication and was arrested- then rushed to hospital for hand surgery. He’ll now be off work for at least a month.

NOT TO BE OUTDONE...LINDSAY LO-HOOOOO THAT WAS CLOSE!

That’s not all, you might read stories about Lindsay Lohan getting run over by a motorcycle in NYC on Saturday night! Good news, she was released from the hospital and is OK.

WHO MAKES MORE?

If you add up ALL the money the MEN made in Hollywood last year, it’s $487 million dollars. Who do you think makes the most? Will Smith – made $80 million last year, Johnny Depp is in 2nd place with $72 million, then a bit of a surprise in 3rd place- Eddie Murphy with $55 million. (4th Mike Meyers, 5th Leonardo DiCaprio).

Looks like it’s official – Will Ferrell IS making an Anchorman sequel!! They’ve already started the script…this one will apparently be set 10 years later...in the 80’s.

AMY TURNS TO WAX!

Amy Winehouse was immortalized with her very own wax likeness yesterday @ Madame Tussauds, complete with yellow mini-dress, beehive and "daddy's little girl" tattoo. Winehouse was a no-show at the unveiling but her parents represented her.

Actress Estelle Getty from the Golden Girls passed away yesterday at the age of 84…she played the very funny Sophia Petrillo from 1985-92. Picture it. Sicily..

CHRISTIAN GOES "BALE-ISTIC"

Batman update: It made $24 million at the box office MONDAY…It’s almost at the $200 million mark. …Now yesterday we learned that Christian was arrested and taken in for questioning around the whole assault allegations made by his mom and sister. He’s saying it’s ALL false.
TODAY…we hear he had a meltdown on the set of his new movie Terminator Salvation, yelling "I will kick your BLEEP," at crew members… All they’re saying is that Christian was "extremely tired and having a bad day."

WHY ALL THE SCREAMING IN TEXAS?

Looks like the Jonas Brothers are moving to Texas. The Dallas Morning News reports that the guys have granted their mother DENISE power of attorney to purchase a 6-bedroom house in a gated Texas community called Vaquero…for 3 million dollars.

BEN AND BEN TAKE OVER FOR EBERT AND ROEPER

Though they won't be able to give the "thumbs up," Ben Lyons of E! News and TCM's Ben Mankevitz will attempt to fill the shoes of Ebert and Roeper on the syndicated movie review series At The Movies. Are they qualified? Well Ben Lyons' father is film critic Jeffrey Lyons and Ben Mankevitz’s grandfather Herman won an Academy Award for Citizen Kane.

IS BATMAN IN TROUBLE?

OK- BIG NEWS: The Sun is reporting that Batman himself, Christian Bale, has been accused of assaulting…his own family, his mom and sister on Sunday night! The police spared him though…and chose not to question him yesterday…the same day of the London Dark Knight premiere. Detectives are expected to make attempts to question Bale today.

Leno’s final show will be May 29, then Conan takes over June 1st.

LI-LO UPDATE

Lindsay Lohan is SO into her girlfriend Samantha Ronson...she's beginning to go public with the romance. How you ask? Well she’s NOW calling herself Lindsay Ronson, Samantha has changed her Facebook status to “in a relationship” and the rumor is they want to get married this month at Dolly Parton's theme park, Dollywood!?!

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST

It looks like another Bachelor romance has bitten the dust. Matt Grant has apparently dumped Shayne Lamas after reports surfaced she was spotted making out with another man in Las Vegas. Extra reports Grant is devastated. Shocker.

HOLY BATMAN BATMAN!

The Dark Knight set A LOT of records this weekend: Best opening weekend EVER, best opening day performance, best IMAX debut and MOST tickets sold at a midnight screening…$155.34 million dollars (cost $185 million to make) -- (Spiderman was 151.1). Coming in 2nd…Mamma Mia!, with 27.6 million, and Space Chimps 7th…7.4 million.

(BTW…Katie was apparently NOT allowed to be in the Dark Knight- instead he picked the Mad Money Queen Latifah movie for her).

CASTING NOTICE

CSI is currently casting for GRISSOM. Do you have GRAVITAS? To be specific…the producers are looking for someone with “depth, scope and gravitas" (dignity, seriousness and duty- one of the several virtues that Ancient Roman society expected men to possess). The president of CBS said if YOU have these qualities, feel free to send in your resume. Oh they also said the new character will be a scientist with a "genetic profile" usually associated with serial killers.


BRANGELINA CHECK OUT

Angelina checked out of the French hospital at 4am Sunday morning…with Knox and Vivienne. By checked out, we mean they escaped in a helicopter from the roof.

As mentioned Friday – K-Fed will have full custody of the kids, now we hear that his monthly “allowance” has increased from $15,000 to $20,000.

Hollywood 360 - Emmy Nominations Are In!

The 60th Annual Emmy Nominations are IN!

LOS ANGELES -- "Mad Men," A-M-C's sleek drama set in theadvertising world circa 1960, and F-X's legal thriller "Damages"made Emmy nominations history today as the first basic cableprograms to gain best-series nods.

"John Adams," H-B-O's prestige historical drama about one ofAmerica's founding fathers, was the overall frontrunner with 23 bids, including a lead-actor nomination for Paul Giamatti's turn asAdams.

"30 Rock," honoured as best comedy series last year, was the top nominee among sitcoms with 17 bids.

"Mad Men" was the leading drama contender with 16 nominations, including one for star Jon Hamm.

The Emmy Awards ceremony will be held September 21st andbroadcast on A-B-C.
