Well the latest in the Lindsay saga – she was apparently dating Heath Ledger at the time of his death last year. Well, her mom is saying- “I know this because I would drop her off and they were friends, very, very close, okay?" Her Mom’s now speaking out cuz she doesn’t wanna see Lindsay suffer the same fate.

I “OWN” EVERYTHING!

Oprah Winfrey could find a new home for her new show in 2 years, the cable network she'll launch with Discovery Communications called OWN. A spokesperson for Oprah's production company will only say that Oprah has not yet made a decision and will announce her intentions by the end of the year. Oprah's syndication deal ends in 2011.

BRITNEY LIP SYNCED…GASP!!

Britney is causing a commotion in Australia, she has 13 shows left on her Circus tour – and she’s lip syncing every one of them. Fans are outraged though, some paid $1300 for their tickets but getting up and leaving after the 3rd song. Local politicians are even getting involved, drawing up a bill which would require promoters to put a disclaimer on the ticket, warning consumers that this concert is pre-recorded.

LA BURGLARY SUSPECT NAMED

Looks like we finally have a suspect in the LA teen burglary gang (that’s what they’re calling the gang who robbed Paris, Lindsay, Megan Fox and others)…It’s a girl…19 yr old Rachel Lee. Apparently the entire reason for the robberies was because Rachel wanted to “own the designer wardrobes of the celebs”.

James Franco from Spider-Man and Milk is taking what some say is a GIANT leap backward and joining the cast of General Hospital, for 2 months, TOTALLY his idea. (that begins Nov 20th). He’s also going to guest star on 30 Rock. Wants a break from movies.

THE HOFFER IN A CANADIAN RUMBLE

David Hasselhoff in more trouble…last weekend he got into a scuffle with an elderly customer at the Cascade Casino in Vancouver…and he was drunk. Apparently it got so out of control, 3 security guards had to wrestle him away and escort him off the premises. TMZ reports Hasselhoff was spotted again drinking seven hours later. No word if charges will be pressed.

STEVE AND ALEC TO HOST OSCARS

Hugh Jackman said no, then rumor has it Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr said no – so this just in, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will be hosting the Oscars on March 7th.

RIHANNA DISHES TO DIANE

Rihanna opened up with Diane Sawyer yesterday when talking about the Chris Brown incident. She said "I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears…that was the level of media chaos that happened the next day." – More with RiRi on 20/20 Friday night.

The Berenstain Bears books are being made into a live action/animated movie 2011. Marmaduke also being made – Owen Wilson to play Marmaduke.

JAY SHOW BAD

The Jay Leno Show’s ratings are so bad, Leno doesn’t even beat out a CSI rerun. SO bad in fact that the NBC affiliates are starting to complain because it’s affecting the ratings of the 11 o’clock news!! Jay commented that he’s not happy with the timeslot and wishes he still had the 1130 timeslot.

CSI CROSSOVER CROSSOVER

For the first time in CSI franchise history, one character will appear in all three CSI’s…Monday November 9th, Laurence Fishburne from CSI Vegas will head to CSI Miami to work with Horatio, then to CSI NY on Wednesday night to work with Gary Sinise, then back to his lab in Vegas Thursday night. One way to watch all 3.

RIHANNA SPEAKS OUT

Looks like Rihanna is finally going to break her silence. She’ll be talking to Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America Thursday, then she’ll be on 20/20 Friday night. I guess she’s doing a CD promotional/personal life tour.

WHO’S IN MORE TROUBLE – LINDSAY OR MICHAEL?

Lindsay. Here’s the latest. Apparently her Dad Michael got a hold of phone messages, the messages are Dina calling Lindsay completely frantic, claiming Lindsay was on death’s door with the drug abuse…well, he then leaked them to Entertainment Tonight (he says to help, we think to make cash), but then we hear ET got a letter from Dina’s lawyer, so they chickened out and didn’t expose her yesterday. Lindsay’s apparently escaped to Morocco right now to host a party/not be around when the media makes it official that she has a massive drug problem. PS- she was seen canoodling with Gerard Butler.

TNT has saved the show Southland, which got the axe before Season 2 premiered. The 6 episodes will air, I’ll get you Canadian dates. V premieres tonight. It’s a remake of the 1980s sci-fi miniseries…aliens referred to as "The Visitors," hover in spaceships over major cities around the world, poised to take over the planet. Glee: The Music, Volume 1, soundtrack is in stores today. Kinda like the world’s craziest mix tape – everyone you can think of, all mashed together. Volume 2 will be in stores by Christmas. Also in stores, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Food, Inc (where you’ll never want to eat chicken again) and Fraggle Rock: A Merry Fraggle Holiday!!

Cable company TLC with dying show + faltering network with sinking revenues (NBC) = Kate, Her Story tonight on TLC (but officially an NBC production), with NBC reporter Natalie Morales.
MJ STAYS IN THEATRES

MJ’s movie This Is It was #1 at the box office this weekend, 21.3 million (bringing the total to 101 million worldwide. It’s now been extended to US Thanksgiving weekend (Nov 26)…but NOT out on DVD now until after Christmas…you might want to give them an I.O.U. – thanks to a dispute between Sony pictures and movie theatres, it will be the regular 3 month wait.

SPICE GIRLS REUNION

Looks like we have more details on The Spice Girls Reunion – AGAIN. They will be getting back together to open the 2012 Olympics in London. Oh and they will NOT be the Old Spice Girls - - they want a whole new persona.

One medical show down, 900 to go. NBC has pulled the plug on Trauma, which is usually on Mondays. You can see it tonight…they WILL finish producing the 13 episodes, but not sure if you’ll get to see them all.
