Today marks such an important day in World history- congratulations to Barack Obama as he becomes the 44th President of the United States!!

In your honor Barack, The Academy has postponed the Oscar nominations until Thursday!

Hollywood and New York City will feel strangely empty today, as seemingly every star in the known universe converges on Washington, D.C. to perform at one of the many inaugural balls being held today. Here's a rundown of who's playing what and where:

The Neighborhood Ball is tonight's big event -- it's being broadcast on ABC from Washington's Convention Center. The bash will feature performances from MARIAH CAREY, MAROON 5, ALICIA KEYS, FAITH HILL, MARY J. BLIGE, JAY-Z, STEVIE WONDER, SHAKIRA and more. Plus, BEYONCÉ will sing the ETTA JAMES classic "At Last" while PRESIDENT BARACK AND FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA have their first dance together.

The Youth Inaugural Ball, sponsored by MTV, called Be The Change: Live From The Inaugural, the event will feature performances from KANYE WEST, KID ROCK and FALL OUT BOY, as well as appearances from USHER, ROSARIO DAWSON and TOBEY MAGUIRE.
