AND THE AWARD GOES TO...

Imagine winning an award in front of everyone --and then having it taken away from you. That's what happened to Katy Perry on Saturday night at the French Music Awards. "I Kissed A Girl" had been announced as the International Song of the Year, she walked onstage to accept the award, but at the end of the show, the host announced that there'd been a mistake in the vote tally - and that Rihanna’s song "Disturbia" was the actual winner. OUCH.

BAD KARMA!

Boy George was sentenced on Friday to 15 months in jail after being found guilty last month of falsely imprisoning a Norwegian male escort. The length of the sentence was a surprise to lawyers who had expected a term of around three months, or even a suspended sentence.

WALK THE LINE...THEN FALL OFF THE STAGE

Joaquin Phoenix’s rap career stumbled out of the gate Friday night during a gig in Las Vegas. The Walk the Line star, who says he's retired from acting, performed three songs from his upcoming debut album and literally fell from the stage at the club LAVO. You can find the clip on YouTube.
