ABC RELEASES FALL TV SCHEDULE

ABC announced its primetime schedule for the fall season Tuesday, a lineup that includes 11 new shows and some very familiar TV faces, including KELSEY GRAMMER, COURTENEY COX and PATRICA HEATON.

Kelsey Grammer will star in Hank, a sitcom about a corporate exec who's just been laid off. Patricia Heaton, (Everybody Loves Raymond), will star in The Middle, a comedy about an Indiana family trying to make it through some tough times.

Courteney Cox will play a newly single woman who's trying to learn the new rules of dating in the sitcom Cougar Town.

Ed O’Neill of Married...With Children fame returns to TV in another family comedy entitled Modern Family. The series will be shot in the single camera style of The Office and will focus on three very different families.

Mark Burnett lands his first show on ABC, entitled Shark Tank. The series will spotlight budding entrepreneurs who try to persuade five millionaires to provide investment capital for their business ideas. It's adapted from the British TV hit reality series Dragon's Den.

Another one - Eastwick, an adaptation of the movie The Witches of Eastwick...

The Forgotten, a series that pieces together the stories of missing persons...

Flash Forward, a sci-fi drama that features people blacking out and getting a glimpse at their future.

MIDSEASON NEW SHOWS:

The Deep End, a series about young lawyers at a cutthroat firm, Happy Town, about a Minnesota community plagued by kidnappings, V, a remake of the 1980s miniseries about aliens who come to Earth.

COMING BACK:

Scrubs will be coming back to ABC.
