AT&T may be at the center of a scandal, over American Idol. According to the NY Times, AT&T provided phones, free-text messaging and lessons in how to cast 10 votes with a push of a button (guess it’s called Power Texting) at 2 finale viewing parties in Arkansas organized by fans of Idol winner Kris Allen. NO such services were provided to Adam Lambert. AT&T is speaking out saying the company was invited to attend the events organized by the community. Needless to say officials at Fox Broadcasting declined to discuss the situation.
