Law enforcement sources directly connected say that it was an accidental overdose and not a suicide – that he was dependent on Xanax to reduce anxiety as a direct result to the plane crash 11 months ago.

WHITNEY IS BACK!

I Look To You, Whitney Houston's first album of original material in 7 years, arrives in stores today. It's being released on a Monday instead of the usual Tuesday because today, August 31st, is the cutoff date for an album to be eligible for the 2010 Grammys. Whitney says she really had no intention of every making another record until music biz legend Clive Davis, the man who discovered her and signed her to her first record contract, contacted her about three years ago.

Taylor Swift reached a career milestone this past Thursday night when she headlined New York City's Madison Square Garden. After rocking her fans with all her hits, Taylor wrote on her Twitter page, "Most. Amazing. Night. That's what I'll look back on when I'm old." And she had a special gift waiting for her backstage afterwards -- Taylor tweeted, "Rihanna sent me roses. How amazing is she?" (Rumor has it her album Fearless could be up for a Grammy, Album of the Year)...
