IZZIE IS ADOPTING!

Katherine Heigl from Grey’s Anatomy is adopting a 10 month old baby from Korea, named Nayleigh, Leigh for short. She’s doing it, because her sister Meg is also adopted. Nicole Richie also had a baby yesterday, a boy named Sparrow James Midnight Madden. Sounds like Midnight Madness!

OPRAH HALTS TRAFFIC!

Well it wouldn’t be Oprah unless she’s doing something BIG. Today, she’s shutting down a portion of Michigan Avenue in Chicago so the Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Hudson and Criss Angel can perform. – All for her season premiere – next Monday. Apparently there’s also a mystery box hanging along the avenue- we won’t find out what’s in it until then.

Michael Jackson’s white glove, the glove sold in an auction yesterday for $48,400. The winning bid came from Warwick Stone, who works for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Vegas.

MJ’s FUNERAL

70 days after he died, Michael Jackson was finally laid to rest last night. 200 guests arrived, then 90 minutes later, the funeral started. (Feldman, Macaulay, etc). Gladys Knight sang- then after the service Michael's 5 brothers -- each wearing a red tie and a glove with one crystal on it -- carried his gold coffin into the mausoleum. The public won’t ever be allowed into the building, the closest you’d be able to get to the tomb is a stained glass re-creation of The Last Supper that appears near it.

WILL I AM…A DOLPHIN??

Will I Am from the BEP wants to try out for the Miami Dolphins. He’s not joking, he says "I always loved the game of American football...I'm sad that I never followed my football dreams...Lately I've been thinking, is it too late to do it now?” He then goes on to say he could outrun Reggie Bush and posted a video on his blog directed to the owner Stephen Ross saying - "Yo, Ross, this ain't no joke. CHRIS FEUDS WITH…OPRAH??

Chris Brown is in a feud with…Oprah? Yep, it seems he’s pretty upset that she did that show about domestic violence, and made him the subject matter. He feels as though he has done a lot of stuff her like “going to Africa and performing at her school – and should have helped them out a little more”. MAD MEN RENEWED

If you like the show Mad Men, this is good - it’s been renewed for a 4th season – season 3 just got started August 16th, so no end in sight anytime soon.

DJ AM’s 12 STEP MEMORIAL

DJ AM was buried yesterday afternoon at Hillside Memorial Park in West LA. The memorial service will be held today at the Hollywood Palladium, in the form of a “12 step meeting”. We ARE also hearing that his Mom just filed documents at an L.A. court saying he did NOT have a will. She'll be the main heir to his 3.5 million in property, $400,000 in assets and 2.9 million in debt.

MJ’s BURIAL

70 days after his death, MJ will be buried later today in Glendale California. The venue has changed so many times, it looks like it’ll now be at the Freedom Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Cemetery, beside Walt Disney and Larry from The Stooges. Only close friends and family are invited. Again, speculation about Jackson's whereabouts grew when the media lost track of his casket after his brothers carried it out of sight inside the arena. TORI AND DEAN…NOT INN LOVE?

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott may be on the verge of a war...it's coming out in the latest Star Magazine that he only married her to get to her money. Well, her dad was Aaron Spelling and we hear that as he was on his death bed, Dean BEGGED Tori to not make him sign a prenup. They got married, Aaron died, Tori didn't get any of the half billion fortune, now he's stuck with her. We're EVEN hearing in 2005 when he was hired to work along side her in a Canadian made for TV movie- he fired off about 12 texts to his friend (a cop named Michael Olifurs), saying “Tori looks like she’s been hit by a truck, she looks like a horse”! – the word now is he’s staying with her until he can hook a bigger celeb.

MEGAN IS MARILYN?

Megan Fox is telling us she is schizophrenic. Although she hasn’t been officially diagnosed, she is convinced she shows symptoms of auditory hallucinations, paranoid delusions and social dysfunction. She’s also obsessed with studying the life of Marilyn Monroe and is convinced her life will end the same way. “I definitely have some kind of mental problem and I haven’t pinpointed what it is.”

IZZIE IS LEAVING THE BUILDING

Katherine Heigl is leaving Grey’s Anatomy. Kind of. She’ll be taking a 5 episode hiatus so she can shoot the movie Life as We Know It. She’ll be “laid off” when Seattle Grace merges with another hospital. Not sure exactly WHEN that drama’s gonna go down...Grey’s is back Sept 24th.

DJ AM WAS "PLANNING TO GO TO REHAB"

We’re hearing today that DJ AM was really struggling to maintain his sobriety, prior to Friday night when he “accidentally overdosed”, if that’s the cause. According to the NY Post, his “manager/sponsor” flew to NYC Thursday night to confront him. I guess Adam didn’t let him in, but I guess he DID witness him doing crack and taking pills (details shady). Adam also apparently, agreed to rehab as soon as the Friday night Vegas gig was finished…didn’t quite happen for him. People magazine is saying they found 8 undigested Oxycontin pills in his stomach…He’s been moved to California, funeral plans haven’t been revealed yet.

AVRIL ON IDOL

Avril Lavigne will be a guest judge on Idol. She’s actually going to be a co-judge with Katy Perry. She’s really little, maybe she’ll sit on Katy’s lap? No, they each get a day I guess, at the callbacks.

CHRIS BROWN SAYS “I MISSPOKE”

Chris Brown was interviewed by Larry King to be aired TOMORROW but CNN’s getting in on the hype and they’ve released a portion of it today –Chris in a baby blue bowtie saying he doesn’t remember anything about that night. Now – he’s going on record today saying IN that one hour interview, he was asked the same thing at least 5 times, answered about 4 times – yet they only used the 5th answer – the one where he said he didn’t remember. He’s saying he misspoke. “I take full responsibility for my actions. What I have to do now is to prove to the world that this was an isolated incident and that is not who I am and I intend to do so by my behavior now and in the future."

Yesterday there were rumors that Macauly Caulkin was Blanket Jackson’s real Dad. Mac responds with "The inquiries are too preposterous for us to even acknowledge." – so I guess that’s a no?
