CHRIS BROWN'S ARRAIGNMENT TODAY

Chris Brown is due in LA court today to be arraigned on charges that he assaulted Rihanna in February. People magazine is reporting that Chris is expected to enter a plea to two felony counts. However, TMZ.com reported yesterday that his lawyer has been negotiating a possible plea bargain and that a, quote, "deal is close."

PS- Rihanna IS cooperating with prosecuters but she will NOT be in court, she's actually in Barbados.

BOX OFFICE RESULTS

Fast & Furious used diesel power to race to the top of the box office this past weekend, collecting 72.5 million dollars in ticket sales along the way. That's the best box office opening weekend this year, beating the $59.3 million-dollar opening for Monsters vs. Aliens last weekend. The fourth movie in the street-racing series featured the return of actor VIN DIESEL, along with PAUL WALKER, MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ and JORDANA BREWSTER. All four actors appeared in the 2001 original.

TV TONIGHT

BOB SAGET stars in a new ABC sitcom tonight as a family man, but Surviving Suburbia isn't exactly a remake of his 1987-1995 comedy Full House, which aired on the same network. For one thing, Saget's latest character, a married father of two, is much more cynical than Full House dad Danny Tanner ever was. ABC managed to pick up Surviving Suburbia after it was originally attached to the CW. It premieres following Dancing with the Stars tonight at 9:30 p.m. Eastern time.
