NO TO MADONNA

Looks like Madonna's petition to adopt 4yr old Mercy James from Malawi was rejected early this morning. I guess it came down to a residency requirement and the fact that the judge believes she was being well taken care of in the orphanage, and it was in the best interest of the child to leave her where she is. Some human rights groups are calling this "A triumph for the children of Malawi," but some feel it really didn’t have to do with her money and power at all… This completely conflicts what we were hearing yesterday, reports citing that Madonna supports over 25,000 orphans as it is…
