GRAMMY AWARDS SUNDAY NIGHT!

LIL WAYNE has the most nods, with eight, but he may get shut out for the big awards because the Grammys don't generally reward hip-hop artists in major categories like Album of the Year. For example, KANYE WEST has been nominated in that category three times, and lost every time. But Weezy's CD Tha Carter III was the year's best-selling album, so he'll likely sweep many of the hip-hop and rap categories.

COLDPLAY has the next highest number of nominations, with seven, but they're already proven Grammy favorites -- five years ago, they won Record of the Year for "Clocks" and they've won three additional Grammys in some of the lesser categories.

So look for CHRIS MARTIN and the boys to take home several trophies on Sunday night. As for this year's other big nominees, JAY-Z, NE-YO and KANYE WEST each grabbed six nominations; JOHN MAYER, RADIOHEAD, duet partners ALISON KRAUSS & ROBERT PLANT, and R&B star JAZMINE SULLIVAN all have five. Artists who got four nods include ADELE, THE EAGLES and T.I.
