RIHANNA CHRIS BROWN UPDATE

Some are saying that Chris got a text message from a Canadian girl and that caused the fight between Chris Brown and Rihanna. We're also hearing however that it started because she's been hanging out with Timbaland...and he didn't like that. E! News is reporting he is staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Vegas, though no official confirmation there. Some are also saying he's with the fam in Virginia.

A friend of Chris' tells People magazine that the story, quote, "is not as bad as everybody is trying to gas it up to be."

AMERICAN IDOL TOP 36 REVEALED...WITHOUT JOANNA!

American Idol's top 36 contestants were announced last night as the Hollywood round came to an end. The big shocker though came after the episode aired. Fox announced early this morning that Joanna Pacitti, who advanced into the top 36 when the episode was taped over a month ago, has been disqualified – no reason given. Replaced by Felicia Barton.

WHICH HOUSEWIFE IS LEAVING WISTERIA LANE?

5 seasons on Wisteria Lane is apparently enough for actress Nicolette Sheridan/Edie Britt. A rep for the actress issued a statement to TV Guide, saying the actress, quote, "had a great time on the show and is looking forward to her next project." An ABC spokesperson didn't come right out and say the actress is leaving, but did confirm to the magazine that Sheridan's character would be leaving the series. No word on how Sheridan will be written out of the show.
