BRET MICHAELS UPDATE

Bret Michaels is still in critical condition, he had a brain hemorage last week. The last official update says that he’s still in ICU and under 24hr surveillance. They’re doing a ton of tests this week to locate the source of the bleeding. A neurologist has weighed in, saying that smoking, drinking excessive amounts of alcohol and high blood pressure COULD be the contributing factor…

BIEBS IS HITTING PUBERTY!

Puberty is taking its toll on Justin Bieber's live shows - the Canadian pop sensation is struggling to sing for fans because his voice is breaking. The 16 year old, who was offered a record deal after posting videoed performances on YouTube.com, admits he often fails to hit the high notes during his concerts.

He says, "It cracks. Like every teenage boy, I'm dealing with it and I have the best vocal coach in the world. Some of the notes I hit on (hit track) Baby I can't hit anymore. We have to lower the key when I sing live."

SHATNER - THE NEW GOVERNOR GENERAL

William Shatner is the focus of a Facebook campaign in which fans are attempting to get the Montreal native appointed to the 5yr ceremonial position of Governor General. The group currently has 35,000 people who agrees that "It's time for Canada to boldly go where no country has gone before." (the position is currently occupied by Governor General Mikelle Jean – her term expires in the fall).

He Tweeted- “I'm being drafted by various groups to run for Governor General. Would they accept me if I campaign for salmons' rights?”

THEN - His Vulcan friend, Leonard Nimoy, advised Shatner to take the offer seriously. He tweeted, "Bill: You're being considered for Governor General of Canada. Do it!! Finally a chance to do something w/your life." Nimoy added, "Bill: Outgoing Mayor of Calgary said I should run for the office. Me as Mayor and Shatner as Governor General!!"

CHARLIE SHEEN TO BE REPLACED?

If Charlie Sheen does in fact leave Two and a Half Men, the rumor is his uncle, actor Joe Estevez is apparently ready and willing to take his place. He’s pitching the idea to the show’s creator that Charlie Sheen’s character has gone missing or has traveled overseas and Joe Estevez would play the role of his uncle. And that he’d save the show for the good of the family. Joe Estevez is the younger brother of Martin Sheen and uncle of Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen (in over 200 movies).

MAN...I FEEL LIKE A MENTOR!

Shania Twain will guide and mentor the Top 6 on Idol tonight – they all have to sing her songs…which some are saying is going to be a giant bomb.

OH PULLLEASE....

The Hills is/are back tonight…final season to be filled with shocking confrontations, none of which we’ll be able to detect on Heidi’s frozen face.

ON DVD TODAY...

It’s Complicated with Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus- As you know, Heath Ledger died in the middle of making the fantasy flick about a bad deal with the devil. Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell stepped in to play versions of Heath's character. It comes with interviews, a deleted scene and Ledger's wardrobe test.
