HOPE FOR HAITI/CANADA FOR HAITI

George Clooney and the gang set a new record for disaster relief telethons – As of Sunday night Hope for Haiti raised more than 57 million dollars raised. Canada for Haiti which was on an hour before, brought in 18.8 million. You can still give, just text the word REDCROSS to 30333 and $5 will automatically charge to your cell phone!

CONAN O'BRIEN IS A FREE AGENT

Conan's final episode of The Tonight Show drew a really big audience. The exact numbers have not been disclosed, but it received a hefty 7.0 rating. To put that number into perspective, it's nearly three times the rating for David Letterman’s show Friday night. JAY LENO is going to “sit down” with Oprah Thursday about the whole mess, I guess Conan was also invited, not sure if he’ll say yes.

JERSEY SHORE WANTS MORE!

The cast of Jersey Shore is already fighting about money for Season 2. They’ve been offered a $10,000 signing bonus plus $5,000 per episode, but they’ve chosen to stand together like the cast of Friends, until they get their price. (they want Hills money- which is like $100,00 per ep). MTV THEN went to $10,000 per episode and they have a day to consider it, then they’re being recast.

AVATAR POISED TO TAKE OVER

Avatar (1.6 billion currently) earned another $36 million this weekend, surpassing Dark Knight – it’s now in 2nd place to Titantic (1.8 billion) but James Cameron said by this afternoon, when worldwide numbers come in, it should officially be #1.
